This dog gave me a fright!
630 A.M.
i woke up so i can jog around the village. It was still dark outside and i was thinking of staying in for a while as i reasoned that i might not see clearly outside. Of course, it was stupid. i went out of our house and there were lots of people doing thier early morning routine already --er jogging that is! After a few exchange of pleasantries, i tried to focus on my thing. i stretched a bit and warmed up. I jog for about fifteen minutes and found my heart skipping nonstop. i was exhausted so i figured to walk for a while before trying a second round. I was walking around our village and entered a desolated alley --its not actually desolated only that it was morning and nobody was there that time. In fact, at the end of the alley was the village clubhouse where a few early birds were practicing Wushu. Anyway, as i walked along that stretch, i passed by a house where a dog laid peacefully. "Cute" i thought. i glanced his way but did not stare at his eyes as i learned early on never to stare at a stranger's eyes, even dogs. I walked past him already when suddenly, with full mighty force he stood up barking. Yikes! my heart jumped! At the corner of my eyes, i saw him coming near me. I froze and stood still. He was still barking and barking and barking....... HELP! was all i can think of. i dare not shout for fear of provoking the dog. After a while, I tried to move half inch by half inch hoping that after, maybe, 5 hours i can reach the end of the road and some people might come to my rescue but each time i move the dog would follow. At this point, i thought my ending is definitely going to be a tragic one. .... I even promise God that i'll be good from then on as long as he help me............ pathetic, i know. I was in total terror......... Good thing, or was it a divine intervention, I saw an image of a guy from the corner and he was walking my direction! THANK YOU! He gave out a loud "SHHHHHH" and the dog scurried away. He told me never to run under this circumstance as the dog will surely come after me. Yeah, i figured that out early in life since i had the "fortunate" experience of running away from a dog once. Anyway, i thank him and quickly went back home. On my way home, a guy accosted me and asked if i was the girl who got terrified by a dog a while ago. (Hmmmm...... so, apparently the first guy have informed the others.) i answered in affirmative and he said he will report it to the village guards.........................
i really had a fright from this dog. A second chance in life...... now everything seem more beautiful and lovely.......... ahehehe just kidding. things are the same or maybe not............

I’ve bought my first ever Rubik’s Cube
I have decided! I am going to hop into the Rubik’s cube bandwagon. This decision, of course, was made after much deliberation…. Okay, okay no deliberation. It was just a spur of the moment thing. I was walking back home when I saw a vendor selling this enthralling cube that was such an appealing sight to behold. It immediately caught my attention. Memories suddenly surged in. I remembered tinkering with this mechanical apparatus before but everything else seemed vague. I thought for a while… this gadget will definitely help me look cool. The multicolor sides will definitely jibe with my tutti-fruity mind, oh, and not to mention my “cool” thick eyeglasses, (How do I know it is cool? Heads turn my way when I enter a room and everyone smiles… okay more like sniggers… whichever, it must mean I am cool right?). Also, my four seasons inspired wardrobe which my mom always appreciate (How can I go wrong, she has been praising these clothes since kindergarten), and my shiny black hair (oh, I don’t need to hot oil it says my stylist, the oil that accumulates naturally after a week of “shower holiday” is better) will definitely blend with this. The 4 kilo books I carry everyday may not…. But that’s no problem as I can change their casing anyway. So, after seriously weighing things over, I bought a piece for 20 pesos.
Well, I’ve made thousands of New Year’s resolution already. Every year it’s about getting daily exercise and every year I just fail myself. So, this year I am making a new New Year’s resolution… well it’s about exercise too but a different kind of exercise… not the one which I have to attempt to burn 1 calorie and end up gaining 1000 calories… its an exercise which requires me to use a skill that I have long forgot…. the skill of using my mind.
Okay, to cut the story short I made a challenge to myself this year: start solving the Rubik’s cube. I am going to make a record of my journey with my Rubik’s cube and I invite you to join me in my journey. J Oh, I am making a side game, no wager involve, how many seconds, minutes, days, weeks, months, years, decade, or century do you think it will take me to solve the Rubik’s cube??? Oh, by the way, my horoscope says: You will die with unfinished business in your hands but you will die happy. What do you think that means???? Anyway, so how long do you think???

gone but never away.
okay. i failed myself again... last time i made a promise (challenge) to myself that i will write more often, never mind if it is superficial or trivial just as long as i let out what i have in mind. But like an empty resolution...it bubbled and fizzled. This blog is a proof, just take a look at the date of my last entry and you'll figure. i have to say, i have been busy with something lately or my mind is preoccupied with something else so i am seldom in my writing predisposition. But come to think of it... if i will always make it as an excuse i guess ill end up stalling each and everytime. Okay, so here i am again making another resolution. i may have been gone but i was never really away! stay tune cause i am back with a vengeance.
btw, i made another blog www.psychcafe.blogspot.com
please check it out if you have time :)

2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony Video
My post title above is the new keyword for searching the 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony Video. This is the exact, most search keyword for the said video. Other search for 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony Video Replay and others search for 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony Video Download. Whatever they search, they still can't view the video because it's deleted and viewing the full performance of the 2008 Olympics Opening Ceremony is prohibited. I don't know if someone out there had the full copy of the video, or they are just faking that they have. I have some resources here of the full video that you can download, but you should hurry, because somebody from the host might have deleted it already. This video is very hard to find nowadays, so do all your best to view all the pages of Google or Yahoo until you can find what you are really looking for.For me, I'll wait the DVD or Blue-Ray Disc copy of the video so that I can fully enjoy the astonishing and wondrous performance of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony!

EAT! THE PSYCHO WAY!
It’s a miracle! No, the sky did not disappear! Silly you! My dyspepsia disappeared……… just in time for the much anticipated Trinoma food tour!!!!
Finally, it happened! January 9, 2008, I woke up feeling so excited and looking forward to the day’s event. The scheduled registration was 2:30 in the afternoon but because I can no longer contain the thrill, I hurried down to Trinoma at around 11 in the morning. I walked around and around and around……. so many shops, so little time!!! I am like a kid in a candy store again. Oh! Red, blue, sugar, green, yellow, spice, violet, pink, and everything nice were there. One globular revolution around Trinoma later, the clock reads 2:30 pm. I scurried down the ground lobby hoping to see packs of mutated people a.k.a. bloggers but instead I found cute kids playing, young couples flirting, and busy shoppers resting. HUH? Was I being punked?? Where is everybody? I texted fellow blogger jehzeel laurente to check if January 9 was indeed the said date and if 2:30 pm was the registration time. Positive was the response. So where are they?!! Oh, cinema lobby not ground floor lobby…… eeeps! Fast forward……. 30 minutes later, upon reaching the cinema lobby……… LO and behold! Sanctuary!!! There they are!!! I saw familiar faces! Pinoyblogero Karlo Licudune and Jehzlau. Ting ting ting!!! After a few introductory speeches and feature presentation…….. the food tour is about to begin. Oh, by the way, foods were also served during the registration proper but the mutants were astute enough to stay away and leave enough room in their stomach for the later event. The groups were divided and everyone got what they needed and so the journey begins. LET US EAT! THE PSYCHO WAY!
So, how do you eat the psycho way??? Simple, gatecrash into selected establishments, flash your white Trinoma wristband, demand to be fed, pay your compliments (not bill), and leave!!! Yup, and that’s how I with my fellow pink groupmates Paolo, Cathy, Omar, Kringle, JP and the others did it.
Lao Tzu said “A journey of a thousand mile begins with one step”. That first step for us was Cabalen. We feasted over Lechon, Sisig, and Kare-kare. Oh boy! Next, La Maison. Ahhhhh……….So heavenly were the ribs, served with two kinds of sauce: chili garlic and honey barbecue. This dish is delicious with a capital D. The Dover sole fish fillet is another “must try”. The sauce is good, complementing “melts in your mouth” fish fillet! No kidding! We also sampled their mussels. Sobresaliente! The Staffs were also friendly and accommodating. The celebration didn’t end there! Over at Abe, we feasted over their unique lumpia and corn, egg omelet. TASTY! At Haiku, we partied with their house special salad! The blending was YUMMY! Then off we went to Hosseins Persian Kebab. Ohhh… the ambience and the setup was nice and pleasant. The food was even better. The chicken kebab was perfect with the tomato salsa and the homos, ehehe SCRUMPTIOUS. By this time around, my stomach was kind of heavy and was worried if I can still carry on… but like any brave fighter, I did not quit.
TGIFriday served us with buffalo chicken wings and fish fingers. Honestly, I felt my face lit up when I bite into it. It was mouthwatering at sight and mouthwatering at bite! Fish & Co. also dish up their signature fish fillet and mussel. DELECTABLE! Italiannis whipped up their famous pasta. NICE! Oh no! Still more to go but the stomach is getting tighter and time is running out! Our team leader told us its crunch time. We visited Bubba Gump and sampled their mouthwatering pingpong chicken… cute name huh! It’s cute to the taste too! At Holy Cow Chop house, I indulged myself with their cheesecake and chocolate cake. Definitely rated A, I swear! Last destination was CYMA (too bad we didn’t get to visit the rest L) By this time, my stomach was really full but I just can’t resist the goodies in front of me. A royal meal that is.
After the feeding session, everyone’s digestive tract seemed exhausted. The organizers prepared a mini concert and raffle draw as well. Everyone was a winner that night.
Thank you Yehey! Thank you Trinoma! Thank you Breadtalk, Congo grill, Conti’s, North Park, Bacolod Chicken Inasal, Bangus, Giligan’s Island, Heaven and Eggs, Kamay kainan, La Mesa Grill, Mangan, Mann Hann, Marina, Oki Oki, Pho hoa, Sizzling Pepper Steak, Super Bowl of China, Teriyaki Boy, Cabalen, La Maison, Abe, Good Earth Tea Room, Haiku, Hosseins Persian kebab, Bubba Gump, Cyma, Fish & Co, Holy Cow Chop House, Italiannis, and TGIFridays, and Thank you fellow bloggers.
