Brian Gorrell beat me!!!

Before any violent reactions from you guys, let me just clarify: No, Brian Gorrell did not beat me up physically. Brian Gorrell beat me in terms of blog page views. So the title is not to be taken literally because Brian Gorrell beat me in blog sense. His blog was launched March 4, 2008 and has been receiving thousands or even millions of page views and still counting. Meanwhile, my blog was launched sometime late of last year (October maybe) and is only counting sheeps. Makes me wanna cry…

So Who is Brain Gorrell and what’s his blog about?

Brian Gorrell is an Aussie (blogger?) who was, allegedly, duped by his ex Filipino boyfriend (a well known in Manila High Society, and a member of this so called “Gucci Gang). The ex-BF palmed off $70,000 from Brian on the pretense of a restaurant investment” somewhere in Makati. To cut the story short, Brian Gorrell is exacting his revenge, well, dunno if that’s the right word. According to Brian Gorrell, he just wants his money back. If ex-BF returns his money he will shut off his blog immediately. Now, what makes this blog incredibly exciting??? No, it’s not about the keywords, SEO insights, marketing strategies, blog tips, or making money online but the CHIKA. Ahh, don’t we all love that… the gossip and the intrigues- who is doing what!, where?, when? And how?- aren’t we just a sucker for that. Apparently, Brian Gorrell dropped a huge bomb on ex-BF and his “Gucci Gangmates” so everybody has a good daily dose of their adventures and shenanigans.

Moral of the story…

From what I see, Brian’s blog popularity is on the rise but from what I’ve heard some one is filing a lawsuit and is determined to stop his blog. Hmm…pretty smoky for a scene. Well, if there is one thing I learn it’s that……. CHIKA can really boost a blog’s popularity. J hehe. Now, I wonder how can I add that to my blog (still counting sheeps… for now). Hmmm… (evil wink)….
