Children of Men. Has anyone seen this movie??
I saw it on HBO last month and i liked it. I like the concept behind the movie. The idea was ingenious i should say. It's a vision of how society will become in the future. Chaotic and apathetic. But the most salient is the inability to conceive. When i think about it, i do agree a bit that there is a possibility when human fertilization becomes a problem. Well, this is endemic in the first world regions right? Their lifestyle seemed to have altered their genetic structures. Very interesting. Whats happening around us and inside us is indeed very interesting. Global warming is gaining popularity as more people come out to talk about it. In the past 50 years maybe it was a non existent word but today its becomming a household word as the imminence of it's catastrophic effect is becoming a reality to us. Now i wonder, how about global infertility??? I wonder what turn will it take in the next 50 years or so........... but for now, the question i'd like to contemplate on is whether this phenomenon will ever be a problem here in the Philippines where fertilization is in a boom that one could exploit it as a lucrative business.
Anyway, i just want to commend the director and the person who conceive of this idea. Hats down to you.
